Moe’s Southwestern Grill

I stopped by Moe’s Southwest Grill this afternoon for lunch. Moes has go to be the best place to get a burrito in Long Island. They do offer other things on the menu like fajitas, nachos, and the usual tex mex goods as well.  If your going to Moe’s though your going for a burrito. The burritos are priced  at about $7. Needless to say one burrito will more than likely stuff you. I had the “Joey Bag Of Donuts” Burrito.  I dont really get the name but it had nice helpings of rice, cheese, pic da gallo, chicken (you can your choice of pork, chicken or steak) and beans. The burrito also came with some warm salted tortilla chips on the side to round out the meal.

All i can really say was that the burrito was stuffed and delicious and I was stuffed when i finished it.  Ive tried some burritos at other places on Long Island but theres no competition for Moe’s.  Taco King in Franklin Square has reaally great Tacos and Quesdillas but they cant keep a burrito together. There is nothing worse than trying to eat a burrito with the tortilla fallinng apart and food coming out of it. Moe’s has better tasting ingredients and seals the Tortilla on the grill. Once they roll the burrito its closed for good. There is also a big difference in the quality of ingredients. Moe’s uses good fresh ingedients and you can taste it. If you want myestery meat in a bag go to Taco Bell.

Moe’s is a great place for a healthy filling lunch and will satisfy your “Run To The Border” crave with out having to get 10 tacos off the $0.99 cent menu and run to the bathroom later.
